Detoxification and Green Diet 10 Days Without Meat and Fish

A diet based on vegetables, fruits, and cereal grains stimulates detoxification and weight loss. Start your day with fruit, and before lunch – drink a glass of tomato juice.

During this “green diet” eat fruits, vegetables, cereal grains, and potatoes, but small amounts of low-fat cheese. It is prohibited to eat legumes like beans, lentils, beans, and peas, and it is also prohibited all kinds of meat and eggs. Start the day with fruit, either a freshly squeezed juice, a smoothie, a whole fruit or a fruit salad. Fruit salads can also be eaten between the meals. During the morning it is advised to consume only fruit, and then wait at least half an hour before eating again.

Later in the day, you can consume cereal grains such as barley, corn, buckwheat and others. Cereal grains and potatoes are the most important sources of energy during this diet and should be eaten during all main meals. The potatoes are always eaten cooked and are advised to be stewed or prepared as a salad. Begin your lunch with a vegetable juice. A big part of the plate should take the integral rice or potatoes. You can eat vegetables with you lunch as much as you want.

For dinner prepare a salad of various vegetables. The selection of vegetables and meals is not strictly specified, but you can create salads and cook vegetables on your own.

Milk and dairy products must not be involved with any other foods. Sometimes you can add fresh cheese or any other type of low-fat cheese in a meal, combined with vegetables, usually in a salad.

Green diet is primarily designed to detoxify the body, which leads to weight loss. It is rich in dietary fiber that promotes this process, regulates digestion and also helps in reducing high cholesterol.

Also, this diet provides the body with many vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals. However, there is no adequate intake of protein, even of plant origin, nor enough iron, so it is not advisable to take this diet more than 10 days.


Example No. menu. 1:

Before breakfast: a glass of freshly squeezed fruit juice.

Breakfast: Fruit salad with a half tablespoon of honey.

Lunch: A glass of tomato juice, a carrot with zucchini slices and brown rice, bread and a salad of fresh cabbage.

Snack: Yogurt.

Dinner: A glass of carrot juice and a Greek salad.

Before breakfast: a glass of freshly squeezed fruit juice.

Breakfast: A slice of a whole grain bread, a slice of of low-fat cheese (100 g), salt and a leek. Eat a piece of pineapple and a whole kiwi.

Lunch: Boiled spinach. Wash 250g of spinach and 150g potatoes and chop them into small pieces. Add some vegetables by your choice and cook over low heat 15 to 20 minutes. Finally add a spoonful of sesame. The same way you can prepare and other vegetables.

Snack: Fruit yogurt.

Dinner: a salad of carrots, mushrooms, peppers, garlic and parsley.
