Of the many natural remedies for colds there are some surprising ones such as drinking catnip tea. This herbal remedy has been known for some time. Catnip works as an expectorant and opens up the bronchial passages helping you breathe more easily.
It also helps to reduce a high temperature by making you sweat. Catnip contains a sedative compound so it will also help you go to sleep.
